Stress has become very much a part of life today in the world of fast pace. Whether it’s work pressure, family recriminations, or simply the bustle of everyday life, stress is something that affects everybody at some stage. Fortunately there are all natural solutions that can help to reduce stress, thanks to Ayuveda, the ancient healing system of India. Ayurveda massage in particular is well known for its soothing effect, offering a holistic approach to stress management.

What is Ayurveda Massage Therapy?

Ayurveda is based on the principle that we all seek balance integration of body, mind, and spirit. Ayurveda massage oil treatment (Abhyanga) This is a treatment where the whole body is massaged using warm oil with special massage techniques to create balance in the body. The treatment is believed to calm the nervous system, increase circulation and detox the body. It’s a full-body treatment that aims to relieve not only physical stress, but emotional and mental well-being.

The oil’s that are typically used in Ayurvedic massage therapy are also usually infused with herbs, and can be custom tailored according to your exact requirements. If you’re feeling mentally drained, you can use calming oils, such as lavender or sandalwood, for instance. For example, if you’re experiencing physical tension, oils like sesame or coconut could be used to nourish the muscles. Get details about Kerala Ayurveda Stress Management Package.

How Ayurveda Massage Therapy Helps Relieve Stress

Stress can do a number on your body causing muscle tension, headaches, digestive issues and even mood swings. Ayurveda massages can relieve such symptoms that are not just body related but also mind centered. Here is how this ancient therapy helps to relieve stress:

Relaxes the Nervous System

There are many reasons that Ayurveda massage is good for stress relief but one of the primary reasons is it relaxes the nervous system. The soothing stroke applied during massage stimulates a portion of the nervous system; the parasympathetic put it in a relaxed state. This can minimize the release of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline and help the body return to a relaxed state.

Improves Blood Circulation

Tension commonly causes bad blood flow which will cause muscle tightness, headaches and tiredness. Ayurveda massage has the power to increase blood circulation along with faster oxygen and nutrient delivery to the muscles and tissues. It is good for relieving stress, improving health, and promoting health.

Detoxifies the Body

When we are stressed, toxins build up in our bodies from unmanaged eating habits, lack of exercise as well as emotional upset. Ayurveda massage also helps to boost the lymphatic system which is the key to detoxifying and flushing away toxins in your body. The toxins are extracted with the aid of oils used in the massage, allowing the body to feel refreshed and revitalized.

Boosts Mental Clarity and Emotional Balance

Ayurveda massage therapy doesn’t only benefit the body, it also holds a great significance on mental health as well. Emotionally, the therapy serves to release emotional stagnation that has accumulated throughout the day, allowing you to experience greater mental clarity and emotional wellbeing. By soothing the soul, the Ayurveda Massage offers a feeling of emotional relief, relieving the mind of stress and anxiousness.

Promotes Better Sleep

Sleepiness Stress can disrupt sleep, whether it’s in the form of insomnia or restlessness at night. Ayurveda massage is popular for enabling better sleep by quieting the mind and relaxing the body. Frequent sessions may help you fall asleep more quickly, and sleep more soundly, which is important for stress management.

Different Types of Ayurveda Massage Techniques

Ayurveda massage therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment. There are different techniques based on individual needs and conditions. Here are a few popular ones:

Abhyanga

The form of Ayurvedic massage that is most widely practiced. It is a massage with warm herbal oils all over the body in traditional way followed by gentle massage. This treatment is also focused on balancing your doshas (Vata, Pitta & Kapha), encouraging healing and good health. Get Abhyanga Ayurvedic Oil Massage.

Shirodhara

The treatment of shirodhara involves the pouring of warm oil gently over the forehead, specifically the third eye. This technique quiets the mind, soothes tension, and relaxes body and mind. Shirodhara is perfect for those under constant mental and emotional stress.

Marma Therapy

Marma therapy is a method of stimulating certain pressure points of the body, similar to acupressure. It is believed that these points correspond to various organs and systems in the body. Through pressing on these points, marma therapy serves to relieve tension and assists in the free flow of energy.

Why Choose Ayurveda Massage Therapy?

Unlike traditional massages, Ayurveda massage works not so much on the symptoms of stress, but rather on the root cause. It is a natural, comprehensive approach for stress reduction without drugs or invasive techniques. Additionally, Ayurveda massage creates a feeling of equilibrium and well-being that can fend off future stress.

Ayurveda massage is also good for your health. Ayurveda massage serves to promote people’s physical and mental health by detox, increasing blood flow, and supporting clarity. That well-rounded approach is what makes it perfect for anyone who wants to relieve stress in a natural way.

Embrace Ayurveda Massage Therapy for Lasting Stress Relief and Wellness

Stress is a fact of life, but it doesn’t have to rule your life. Ayurveda massage is a natural, holistic massage, an effective and natural antidote to the stress and strains of everyday life. Ayurveda Massage has been developed to have numerous benefits including those of relaxation calming the nervous system, increased circulation, and improved mental clarity.

Massage oil untangles the knots, tissues and muscles in your body. It relaxes your body by melting away your stress. It helps your hands to easily glide over the skin without causing rashes or irritation.

Picking any random massage oil will not give the right relaxation effect. Likewise, not all types of oil are suitable for body massage. Know the difference between ayurvedic massage oils and choose the best-suited ones.

Almond Oil Massage

If your skin is dry and has a Vata dosha, use a nourishing oil like organic almond oil. This has a pale yellow colour with a mild and sweet fragrance. This is somewhat greasy but not a heavy oil, so they absorb quickly into the skin.

Almond oil is mild and gentle on the skin, so it can be used to massage babies.

Coconut Oil Massage

Is your skin ageing prematurely due to environmental stress and pollution?

A regular body massage with coconut oil can help you.

The organic coconut oil is enriched with Vitamin E to bring out healthy skin. The coconut oil is loaded with antioxidants to prevent skin sagging and wrinkling.

Castor Oil Massage

Castor oil treats arthritis. This serves as the ideal massage oil to relieve nerve inflammation, joint pain and sore muscles, as it has anti-inflammatory properties. Massage the joints with castor oil and place a hot water bag to relieve the pain.

Sesame Oil Massage

Sesame oil is the most popular massage oil in Ayurveda. The oil has powerful antioxidants to fight skin damage caused by free radicals and repairs the skin from sun damages.

Olive Oil Massage

Olive oil is used for lighter massages. This oil gives relief from aches, swelling, inflammation and muscle spasms. Olive oil has been used for thousands of years by Mediterranean cultures for its beauty and health benefits.

Sunflower Oil Massage

Sunflower oil is thin and light, which is used for cooking and massage purposes. The oil turns rancid quickly. It’s best to buy in small quantities and store in a cool place.

Jojoba Oil Massage

Jojoba oil is a type of wax extracted from the seeds of jojoba plants. Jojoba oil has antibacterial properties to treat back acne and for back massages. This oil is used with other herbal oils for effective massaging.

Neem Oil Massage

Neem oil can be used as a carrier oil with olive or almond oil to treat acne. Neem oil is rich in Vitamin E to prevent free radicals from harming your skin. This oil treats warts, acne, fungal infections or moles.

Ayurveda offers amazing remedies to various types of diseases. Back pain, be it associated with muscles or joints is a common issue. People working at a stretch for over 6-7 hours on their computers face this issue. Hence, many ambitious and young MNC workers especially those engaged in software development complain problems of chronic back pain. Even housewives complain such issues.

Ayurvedic treatments to provide relief to chronic back pain

Massage

Ayurvedic massage, an oil massage is referred to as snehana. These oils are at times prepared by using many rare herbs. Often a problem noticed is that many patients suggested to perform this massage for about 3-6 months, tend to discontinue just after 8-10 days, thus not deriving the desired relief from the massage.
