										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://www.mattindia.com/ayurvedic-tips-to-improve-lactation/">Ayurvedic Tips to Improve Lactation:</a> After you give birth to your child, it is important that you<strong> breastfeed</strong> for at least six months after birth. This is a crucial period as the baby is in its most fragile stage and it is important that it gets all the nutrition to develop. <strong>Breast milk</strong> has all the antibodies your child needs to fight off all microbes that may cause diseases. All in all, it keeps the baby healthy. For you to do that successfully, it is important that you keep your <strong>breast milk</strong> good health and improve your lactation. <strong>Ayurveda</strong> suggests many ways to keep that in check.</p>
<p>To keep the milk secretion a healthy amount and of good quality, a nursing mother should watch her diet. Eating hot and spicy food, or food that has turned rancid could be problematic. For best results, the mother must keep her diet vegetarian and as bland as possible. Controlled amounts of ghee and oil should be taken with the food to improve the digestive nature of the mother.</p>
<p>Anything that goes into the body of the mother, would affect the <strong>breast milk</strong> that would ultimately go into the baby. Therefore a mother should watch what she’s exposing herself to. Unclean air and places that are polluted should be avoided. Needless to say, the intake of substances or drugs will also result in affecting <strong>breast milk</strong>, which can prove significantly harmful to the baby.</p>
<p>Sometimes, there may be excess milk secretion from the <strong>breast</strong>, an amount the baby does not need. In cases like this, the extra milk must be squeezed out or it might lead to the area being infected or a breast abscess. During these times, under no condition should the baby be fed milk from the breast. The milk should be thrown out.</p>
<p>On the other hand, there are cases, where mothers are unable to generate enough <strong>breastmilk</strong> for their baby. In cases like these, a special mixture can be taken to produce more milk in the breasts. Soaking 10 almonds overnight and blending it with milk along with a pinch of a few spices like ginger powder, date sugar and cardamom can help bot the quality and quantity of the<strong> breast milk</strong>. It can be taken twice in a day for best results. Other than that, <strong>Ayurveda</strong> recommends that you intake <strong>Shatavari</strong> and <strong>Ashwagandha</strong> in powder form to help the creation of <strong>breast milk</strong>.</p>

<ul>
<li>If your hair is to be wrapped, then take an old towel.</li>
<li>Take a bowl or pot filled with some hot water for warming oil bottle.</li>
<li>Take healthy oil or hair oil of choice.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Directions to follow</h4>
<ul>
<li>Keep the oil bottle in hot water bowl or pot and wait for couple of minutes allowing warming up of the oil.</li>
<li>Then, part your hair right at the center. Apply oil lightly onto your scalp all along the part. This is to be done in the various sections of your head. Now. Rub oil into the scalp and ensure that it does not drip down your head.</li>
<li>Start massaging your scalp and hair.</li>
<li>Make circles on every side of the head by applying firm to medium pressure. You can feel scalp movement over the skull, which is likely to offer a wonderful feeling. It drains out lymphatic fluid, thereby boosting healthy growth of hair and to avoid tension headaches.</li>
<li>Rub in circles clockwise, in slow and gentle motion at the head to for activating Adhipati or the marma point. This points needs to be rubbed gently at any point of time by using or not using oil. It is sure to offer you with calmness and peace. Placing your hand base at the forehead top portion at the hairline is this particular point. The portion where your middle finger stays is known as Adhipati Marma.</li>
<li>Tilting forwards your head, massage the back portion of your head using your thumbs. This helps to release tension and stress.</li>
<li>Then, take some bunches of hair and twist them in clockwise direction and pull gently. Since hairs are connected to a small muscle, this particular action will ensure boosting flow of blood to the region.</li>
<li>Eventually, the oil will go down into the hair shaft. However, if you plan to create an oil mask, then more oil is to be taken in your hands and massage it down the hair tips. Pile your hair over your head top and then wrap it in a shower cap or plastic bag, thereby generating some heat.</li>
</ul>
