Caring for the Body During the Pandemic with Ayurveda

  • Drinking golden milk, milk made with haldi aka turmeric helps boost immunity since it contains antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties that can help a person better fight infections. You can drink it once or twice a day.
  • Make yourself a herbal tea. Some of the effective ingredients in your herbal tea areTulsi, Dalchini (Cinnamon), black pepper, dry ginger and raisins. To make your herbal tea more flavourful, you can add jaggery and a dash of lemon.

In case of sore throat

Don’t panic. Getting a sore throat in these times can be quite dangerous. Before it goes any further deep in your body, it is best to treat it at the early stages. One of the most effective ways is to do steam inhalation with weather that is infused with mint leaves and caraway seeds (ajwain). Ingesting clove mixed with honey can help throat irritation.
